Xristos (Christos) Anesti…the time the Greek Easter Bunny visited Edition.

What is a Greek Easter Bunny you ask?! The Greek Easter Bunny is the bunny who visits when one of the parents (::cough cough:: daddy) forgets to pack the Easter bag that their wife toiled over when going to Disney. The amount of expletives that came out of my mouth when the valet delivered our luggage knows no bounds and I am a smidge embarassed over. Let me tell you how irritating it is to have made all the perfect easter basket selections to only to have to repurchase things at Disney cost (thank you annual pass discount). Yes, we could have driven to the nearby Target, but my plan was only to get three things and that was it since we had so much at home, so Disney World purchases it was. Luckily the bunny board was in my backpack to avoid getting broken in the Easter bag as well as I had carrots in our cooler, so all was not lost….luckily for Sean lol.

The one thing I hate about the pressure of ‘having’ to purchase something is that I end up being a lot more selective than normal and it is a lot harder to find the special things. We decided on a ‘bigger’ gift and two smaller ones. I got the ‘Doug’ Disney baby for the Commodore as he is a ‘puppy’ lover. Magic Kingdom had an awesome Dante one (Dante from the underworld so it was multi-colored), but the kids have no idea what Coco is, so I opted for Doug and EV got this adorable iridescent crossbody bag that can also be a beltbag (for Mama to use when she doesn’t lol). Each kiddo got a digital watch that came with interchangeable faces (Princesses and the Fab Five) and Commodore got a mini Peoplemover with Mickey and Minnie (his favorite ride) and EV got a Minnie bracelet (Disney jewelry is my girls jam).

I did end up giving the ears (below) to the kids after seeing them on Instagram. The faux leather ones can be found in any of the WDW gift shops and then you can take them to the Christmas Shops on property or in Disney Springs and have them painted. Just make sure you get their early enough in the day as they will ask you to pick them up same day. I dropped them off at 11and was told I could get them at 6pm. So as you can tell, time slots fill up really fast. Also, it is paint, so I would plan to have a backpack or carrier of some sort, so that if it rains so that the paint does not bleed and you just never know with Florida weather. I would try to avoid Ziploc bags as with the humidity it can get sticky and I wouldn’t leave anything to chance. I paid $15 for the two (to be painted, the price of the years was $29 each, but I got 20% off with my annual pass) and with all the work and detail, I 100% feel it was worth the value of $7.50 per set of ears.

Happy Easter to me, as I scored the gold 50th popcorn bucket that I was coveting!

The only highlight of forgetting everything was that we got to use the bunny board again and the kids flipped over their Greek Easter baskets, so not all was lost and being at home with the baskets gave them an entire day of playing and enjoying everything rather than trying to get them out the door for the park. My mama is 100% Greek so of course she came over too and delivered even more goodies. You can see everything we had intended to bring with us HERE.

My kids love themselves a good hide and seek, so we put out their ‘big’ gift (EV got an Frozen Anna doll with clothes and Commodore got a Live Chameleon (the goodies are linked above). Along with a note and clues of where their baskets were hidden. EV and Commodore loved this most of all.

Before they woke up, I took pictures of the finished product and then proceeded to hide said baskets. Sean does an amazing job of coming up with clues and letters for the kids. It is that extra bit of magic that totally made up for the bag debacle…kind of lol.

Everything that could be linked is linked above

Danny for some reason loves the joy of going second, so we let EV find hers first.

And then the Commodore was off to the races…

Everything was a blur (literally) and the basket was really “hebby” (heavy).

We brought the baskets back to the living area and just let the kids attack them. It was so much fun and again having the time for them to enjoy them made it that much more enjoyable.

Bluey always brings joy, even over nail polish 😉

There is nothing that demonstrates how she is my mini through and through then my girls love for ANYTHING miniature and that she can put in a purse or in her pocket!

Coveted Easter Blueys

My Camp Creteceous loving girl was thrilled to get Jurassic Park clothes for her Barbie!!

Socks!!!! Dude, does this bunny know you or what!?

Ev was super excited to be “twinning” with Honey

I am sorry, but besides Rusty, are there any other better characters besides Socks and Muffin on Bluey? I will set here and wait while you try to argue with me.

The live chameleon pet was a total win. It makes sounds, music plays, it is great and a total steal for $15. There is nothing that my kids love more than animals. Gotta love the Wild Kratts and all that it has done to nurture this love in my kiddos.

Commodore is always so used to getting Bingo (from Bluey) being the ‘baby’ of the familt that he was perplexed about having recieving both. It took a minute for him to understand that his ‘sissy’ also got both.

I got super lucky with scoring some great famiily pictures of the four of us before the mamala arrived.

I will never ever tire of how much they genuinely love to be around one another

And the rest of the day was spent with Chinese food and just letting the kiddos enjoy everything. As always, bubbles will always be a perfect gift!

My mom scored some really great goodies for the kids along with outdoor tools that will forever be a favorite. Bullseye playground for the win and all the amazing outdoor activities that make that won’t break the bank.

Little metal rakes, either the best invention for my cleanup crew or the worst idea ever!

Not pictured while being pictured…mama cleaning the dirt of her royal highnesses tootsies.

Anyone else’s kids love playing in the dirt but doesn’t like getting dirty? ::cue facepam emoji::

All in all, Gotta love perfect days that never go according to plan!
